The Power of Prayer: How Mustard Seed Faith Can Change Everything

At last, I can publish this article! It has been waiting for the right moment, and today it arrived. For several months now, the power of prayer has been turning over in my mind. Which light switch to press when all you see and feel is complete darkness. When words catch in your throat and not even a whisper comes out. When the mind runs dry, yet the longing remains to draw near to something greater. In good moments and in bad. Or out of sheer curiosity. This is for everyone, wherever you may be ❤️

What Is Prayer?

It is a conversation with someone invisible. Through prayer, a relationship is formed with the unseen by means of speech. Often, when we speak of praying, we imagine a person kneeling with hands folded, lips quietly moving in words. Prayer does not always mean a specific passage learned by heart. Nor does it require kneeling. Nor does it even require words. In its simplicity, it is speech directed to someone unseen, such as the cosmos, the universe, or God.

The Meaning of Words

Words are without meaning unless we give them meaning. If prayer required certain exact words, the majority of people would face a great spiritual crisis, for example Jesus did not recite the Lord’s Prayer in English. It is about intention. In Jesus’ own words: “Truly I tell you, if you have faith even as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move.” (Matt. 17:20)

How to Show Faith Even the Size of a Mustard Seed

There lies the secret! When you shape a sentence or a thought in your mind, for example, “I wish all the best to everyone reading this article,” and release it from your thoughts into the so-called winds of heaven, believing you are entrusting it to a power you cannot see. That alone is intention; it is purposeful action; it is a direct expression of faith — the size of a mustard seed.

Our minds are full of idle thoughts that we believe go nowhere. At most, they simply fill space in our heads. But these small prayers, those moments when, perhaps frustrated, you have closed your eyes for a second and thought in exasperation, “Help me endure all of this!”. Well, guess what! You have endured Absolutely Everything up to this very moment. No matter where you are reading this. Because you are still reading.

The Heavenly Light Switch

So, the next time you wonder whether you should pray. Or, as many wonder, whether you even believe in anything at all. You do not need to do anything more to begin. You can introduce yourself. You can pour out your heart. You can say you are on your way to the store and need support to remember everything without the shopping list that was left on the kitchen table. Anything. As long as you speak.

Because I promised, I will also give it; The One light switch. The one that will turn on the lights even in the darkest darkness. The one that nearly every Christian knows at least somewhat by heart: The Lord’s Prayer. I received a clear message to deliver, and it is precisely this: Even if every single church and Bible were to disappear from the world, this prayer must pass from generation to generation. It is the one through which our souls are saved, time and time again. It is the one that has been given to us. As long as there is intention in the words, as long as there is even the smallest breath of faith within them, your soul will receive its nourishment and its freedom. So repeat it. Repeat it until someone answers.

For Someone: He always listens. You are loved, and you are never completely alone ❤️

Let us pray together:

Our Father, who art in heaven,

Hallowed be Thy name.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done,

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive those

Who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the kingdom, and the power,

And the glory, forever.

Amen.

Remember, My Beloved:

The words do not matter — the intention does. For example, if you are praying in a situation where you cannot speak, cannot fold your hands, or check the words anywhere. The exact content does not matter. Simply give words to whatever begins to flow from within you. Help will surely come ❤️ We live for the future and for the generations to come, not for ourselves. Therefore, My Beloved, I too pray for you 💛
